FIRST AID CLASSES
San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department’s Community Risk Reduction Division (SMCFD CRRD) offers a First Aid class every other month. The class follows the First Aid curriculum of the American Heart Association (AHA).
Our First Aid class is offered to residents (12-years and older) of Belmont, Foster City, and San Mateo, or individuals who work within these cities. There is a class fee per person.
After successfully completing the class, students will receive an AHA First Aid certification valid for two years. All classes include video presentation, lecture, and hands-on practice. This class teaches life-saving skills, giving students a chance to interact with neighbors and SMCFD personnel, and ask questions. Please dress comfortably in order to fully participate in the class.
If you have questions about an upcoming CPR/AED class, please email or call the Public Education/CERT Coordinator at (650) 522-7963 on weekdays between 9 AM and 4 PM.
The next First Aid class date will be in 2020 and will be posted here shortly!
